Recently I have read a couple books that only took me few hours to read, but were incredible nonetheless. I consider them to be easy reads with a good feel and just a dash of angst.
Better Than Running At Night - Hillary Frank
Ellie is in her first year at an art college, learning all there is to learn about life away from everything she's known. This is a very interesting and intimate look at that time in a person's life when teen angst and growing out of it begins. What I like most about it is possibly how true to life it is. Also, Ellie is an interesting and dry humored character, which I love.
Vibes - Amy Kathleen Ryan
This book deals a lot with the feelings of being an outcast, family issues, and mind reading. The main character, Kristi, is as individual as you can get, from her handmade "found clothing" to the whole mind-reading thing and spunky attitude towards life. I loved this book as it reads like any teen novel, in that sense that everyone can relate to, but also throws in a dash of the maybe supernatural.
