I Am The Messenger

This is my first review so here you go.
I thought that I Am The Messenger(IATM) was an amazing book. It accurately depicts a story about a man who has to overcome human anxieties and unspoken rights to serve a purpose that he doesn't even know. He not only has to find a specific person that needs help, but he also has to find out what the problem is and also how to solve it. He isn't some sort of strong person or smart person or anything like that. He is a simple man armed only with a set of morals and a chip on his shoulder, against some of the world's most horryifying evils. The people he helps are either hopeless or blissfully ignorant to their own problems. Markus Zusack did an amazing job in writing this story of a simple man helping to change the world and it also helped show me that morality is the only thing that you should truly hold dear. Demi recommended that I read this book a year or two ago and it is still one of my favorites, if not my very favorite. If you're looking for a hero who has no special skill at all, then you should turn to IATM. Yea, Demi, I mentioned you, and if you haven't figured out who wrote this by now, I am going to be deeply depressed.
Read the book, learn from it. It is the most important lesson that you'll ever learn.
We've only got one life in this twisted world, so you should at least try to help others through it, because it sucks enough as it is without selfish idiots making you miserable.
