So I think that everyone should read the Twilight series. It's pretty much amazing. Some other really good books/series are:
- The Vampire Academy Series, by Richelle Mead
- House of Night series, by P.C Cast + Kristin Cast
- any book by Sarah Dessen
- The Mortal Instruments series, by Cassandra Clare
- My Sister's Keeper, by Jodi Picoult
These are a few of the books/series I think everyone should try. They're all pretty good.

I would have to agree with those and say that any of Jodi Picoults books are amazing. They'll keep your attention and you'll hope the book wasn't done...
